Cecil made headlines around the world with his original offer two years ago, with Brit comic Sacha Baron Cohen rumoured to be ready to make a film based on the mogul's mammoth 'dowry' bid.

Despite 20,000 applications, Cecil was unable to secure a straight partner for his gay daughter.
